How a condom is made
Phase 1: Dipping
Glass formers are dipped into liquid natural rubber latex, creating a thin, even film.
Phase 2: Washing
The vulcanised condoms are washed to remove any residues.
Phase 3: Drying
They are then dried gently.
Phase 4: Testing
Every condom is tested electronically for holes. Samples undergo further tests to ISO 4074.
Phase 5: Foiling
The condoms are lubricated and sealed airtight in individual foils.
Phase 6: Packaging
Finally they are packed into the box together with the instructions for use.
